Přilba, která vám sama zavolá pomoc
Firma Specialized před pár dny představila světu přilbu s doplňkem, který funguje jako sledovací zařízení, detektor pádu a bezpečnostní signalizace. Umí svému uživateli také přivolat pomoc, když to nejvíc potřebuje.
Novou technologii pojmenoval Specialized zkratkou ANGi, jež zastupuje "Angular and G-Force indicator". Říká tím, že zařízení obsahuje akcelerometr a gyroskop, jež běžně míváme v mobilních telefonech, a díky nim rozpoznává senzor ANGi různé síly, které souvisejí s neočekávaným pohybem či pádem.
Samo o sobě toto zařízení fungovat nebude a aby ožilo, je třeba jej spárovat s chytrým telefonem vybaveným aplikací Specialized Ride App. Pokud během jízdy senzor zaznamená neočekávaný pohyb či pád, sepne alarm v aplikaci a začne odpočet. Pokud jste v pořádku, vypnete odpočet a jedete dál. Pokud budete zraněni a nebudete moct zastavit odpočet, Ride App pošle výstrahu textovou zprávou Vašim tísňovým kontaktům, že jste měli úraz. Kromě upozornění Vašich blízkých, že Vás potkal pád, ANGi a Ride App také zašlou Vaši polohu skrze GPS všem lidem, které si nastavíte v aplikaci Ride App.
Systém funguje i mimo dosah operátora. Před vyjížďkou nastavíte očekávanou délku jízdy a čas návratu a pokud vaši jízdu neukončíte do času, jaký jste nastavili, vyšle ANGi opět přes aplikaci oznámení vašim kontaktům o poslední známé poloze a trase jakou jste zadali. Díky svým senzorům a propojení s mobilním telefonem má ale cyklista i další možnosti jak ANGi využívat. Můžete sdílet vaše jízdní plány ještě než vyrazíte na vyjížďku nebo umožnit kamarádům sledovat vaši jízdu v reálném čase.
Použití ANGi je jednoduché. Stačí ANGi spárovat s chytrým telefonem vybaveným aplikací Specialized Ride App a užít si roční předplatné Ride Premium App zdarma, které je součástí všech helem Specialized vybavených ANGi a také senzorů ANGi, které budou k prodeji samostatně.
S příchodem roku 2019 budou všechny helmy Specialized vybaveny ANGi, nebo budou alespoň připraveny k připevnění této technologie. Senzory ANGi budou potom k dostání u prodejců Specialized.
